A tool does one sum. Solar Base does the whole job.
The STC count, the NMI, the meter alteration and the invoice, worked off one job record, with the last step left to you.
What Powercor's eConnect portal asks for when you lodge a meter alteration after a solar or battery install. Tick off what you have before you log in.
Certificate of electrical safety, with its number; Commissioning certificate
The list is what Powercor's eConnect portal asks for on a meter alteration request, taken from the fields Solar Base's own meter alteration workflow fills in.
From Solar Base's Powercor eConnect integration. Checked 21 October 2026. Portals change their forms; the portal has the final word.
After a solar or battery install the distributor has to reconfigure the meter for the new system. On Powercor's network that request is lodged through the eConnect portal, against the NMI and the pre-approval for the site.
Most requests that stall do so for a missing document or a number that does not match: a certificate of electrical safety without a number the portal accepts, an inverter serial that differs from the paperwork, or an inverter rating above what the pre-approval allowed.
The site's total rated inverter output after the work, which must not be more than the pre-approval allows.
When new panels are added to a site that already has some, the portal needs to know whether the old ones remain, and the certificate of electrical safety does not always say.
No. It is Powercor's eConnect form. Other distributors ask for much the same facts through their own portals, with differences in the detail.
